Billing

Billing assistance is given to the patients at every stage of their stay in the hospital, beginning with a special, thorough 'billing counseling' immediately after admission.
The Billing Department may also be approached during all working hours for explanations and clarifications.

Two types of bills are generated in the hospital: 'Interim Bill' and 'Final Bill'.

INTERIM BILL

Generated every day for Indian patients and every alternate day for international patients, Interim Bills give you an idea on the hospital expenditure as on that day and the amount outstanding in your account, if any. Interim Bills can be collected by a patient's relative/representative at the Billing Desk or sent to the patient's room, upon request.
Outstanding amounts must be settled within one day.

FINAL BILL

Generated at the time of patient discharge, the 'Final Bill' will consider all the interim bills and the advance deposit paid. Please remember that the advance deposit can be adjusted only against the final bill and not against the interim bills. Refunds are processed within 7 days of the patient's discharge, are made by cheque only, and only in the patient's name. The refund cheque can be dispatched by courier, if so required, to a specified address.

If the patient discharge has happened on a holiday or a Sunday or during non-office hours, the bill can be collected the very next working-day morning.

Bed transfers

In case a patient requires transfer from a higher class to a lower class, this will depend on the request and bed availability. The approval of the Medical Social Worker will also be required. Please note that no patient can be downgraded while in the ICU. Also, a downgradation will have effect from the date of approval of the request, NOT THE DAY OF ADMISSION.

Transfer of a patient from a lower class to a higher class, will depend on the patient / relatives request for the transfer and the availability of a bed/room in the specified class.
Kindly note that in such cases, the upgradation will take effect from the date of admission.
