Face lift (Rhytidoplasty)

What is face lift?

Surgical removal of wrinkles on the face. There are many different ways in which the procedure is done to smoothen the skin of the face and neck, tighten the underlying tissues and muscle, and remove excess skin.

How is it performed?

Usually incisions are made in front of and behind the ear. Once the incisions are made, various degrees of undermining of the skin are performed, and the deeper layers of the face are 'lifted'. Muscle tightening as well as liposuction of the neck and jowls may be performed, and excess skin is either removed or repositioned.

Results of Your Face lift

The results of a face lift may be subtle or dramatic, depending on the appearance prior to the surgery as well as the specific goals established. Since the healing process is gradual, one should expect to wait several weeks for an accurate picture of the "new look" emerges. Additional minor changes or settling may occur over several months following the Face Lift surgery.

Cheek and chin implants

The cheek and chin are the key features of the face. A prominent cheek bone & strong chin are sought after by men & women worldwide. Cheek and chin implants help the overall symmetry and proportion of the face to create a perfect balance. The procedure is better known as Facial Contouring or Chin/Cheek Augmentation. Implants are used to enhance a receding chin, enhance the cheek bones or reshape the jawline. Chin augmentation (also called mentoplasty) is often recommended to patients undergoing nose surgery. Facial implants are well accepted worldwide for safety, low cost & low risk. Silicone & other non toxic materials are used for facial implants.

How is it performed?

Generally patients in the age group of 38-50 years are suitable candidates for cheek implants as it helps restore sagging tissues delaying the need for a facelift. Both chin & cheek implants can be performed on an outpatient basis under general or local anesthesia.

Nose surgery (Rhinoplasty)

Rhinoplasty is the most common type of cosmetic surgery. It helps reshape the nose to make it more proportional with the rest of the face. It is a surgical procedure which is used to decrease/increase the nose size, narrow the size of the nostrils or corrected a deviated nose bridge. It is also used to correct birth defects or relieve respiratory obstruction. It is an OPD procedure performed under general anesthesia.

Ear surgery (Otoplasty)

Otoplasty helps in reducing the size of the ears or set prominent ears back closer to the head. It is performed under local anesthesia with sedation or under general anesthesia. Otoplasty is used to correct birth defects and in various other indications for eg: ear protruding away from the head or deformities due to injuries. The procedure usually takes between 2-3 hours.
